7 Day Closet Cleanout Challenge!

Spring is finally here, and with it, spring cleaning!  While I don't enjoy scrubbing and dusting, I DO enjoy purging and organizing.  About twice a year, I purge my closet and drawers of unwanted items.  While it's very satisfying once it's complete, it's a pretty daunting task that can be hard to get motivated for.  This week, I'm inviting you to join me for the Nineteen Windsor 7 Day Closet Cleanout Challenge!

As we go through the week, I'm inviting everyone to post their pictures to Facebook and Instagram with the hashtag #7DayClosetCleanoutChallenge.  It will be fun to see everyone's progress and will help hold us all accountable for completing the entire week.  And if the prospect of a clean and organized closet doesn't entice you, I'll be randomly drawing a winner at the end of the week for a $25 Target gift card!  Whether you choose to use the gift card to begin to reclutter your closet or buy storage cubes, the choice is yours!  Just remember, you have to use the hashtag #7DayClosetCleanoutChallenge to be entered to win!  I'll also be choosing a reader's photo each day and sharing it on the NW Facebook page!

Each day for 7 days, we'll tackle a specific task that takes 30 MINUTES OR LESS, such as cleaning out our sweaters, coats, or shoes.  At the end of the week, we'll all have a beautifully organized closet, filled only with the items we LOVE to wear.  Each day, I'll walk you through  the guidelines on knowing what to keep vs. what to get rid of, and what your options are for getting rid of the unwanted items, be it donation or consignment. We'll also discuss the best way to organize and store the items we're keeping, including the best way to fold or hang specific items, as well as the best organizers and storage boxes to keep everything in it's place.

Make sure you're following Nineteen Windsor on Facebook and Instagram so you don't miss a day.  I'll be posting reminders to both places, as well as posting all of the guidelines and instructions on the blog.  I'll see you back here tomorrow for Day 1 of the 7 Day Closet Cleanout Challenge!
