My Amazon Spring Fashion Favorites

It's that time again ... time for a round-up of my latest Amazon fashion favorites!  I'm most excited about the tie front henley.  It looks almost identical to this shirt that I've been crushing on for awhile, but wasn't excited about spending nearly $40 on it.  I have and love the bracelet crossbody bag.  It's great quality, especially for the price, and is an amazing dupe for this Chloe bag that's nearly $1,700!  And I meant to put this gorgeous Ring Handle Straw Tote in this post and left it out by mistake.  It's a great bag for summertime at a great price!

The Perfect Under $20 Pocket Tanks

If I could choose only one shirt to wear all summer long, it would definitely be a Madewell pocket tank.  I'm wearing them now under cardigans, and I'll be wearing them alone as soon as it warms up here (if that ever happens!).  These shirts are the tank version of the insanely popular Madewell v-neck whisper cotton tees (which now come in lots of pretty spring colors!).  Not only do these tanks come in lots of color options, they also come in crew neck.  The tanks run just slightly big, so if you're in between sizes, I recommend sizing down.  I ordered mine in XS, and they fit perfectly.

Jeans (only $28 - highly recommend!) // Similar Rattan Circle Crossbody (cheaper version here)

Tank // Bralette // Jeans ($28!) // Wedges (also love these) // Similar Necklace

My Spring Shoe Lineup

Today I'm sharing with you my spring shoe lineup!  I have so many more on my wish list (hello espadrilles!) but these are my favorites that are currently sitting in my closet.

Sperry Seaside Perforated Sneaker - After hearing so many good reviews, and then seeing them go on major sale, I snatched up a pair of these Sperry perforated sneakers.  I've literally worn them for like 5 minutes since I've gotten them, and they're pretty snug and stiff right now, but I hear they break in and become super comfortable.  They run true to size but are a bit narrow, so I'm hoping they stretch out.  I'm also loving these, and they have great color choices.

Tory Burch Miller Flip Flops - Best. Shoes. Ever.  Hesitant to buy because of the hefty price tag?  Check  out my article about why they're actually a better value than most of the other shoes in your closet. These run very small.  I ordered one full size up and got an 8 instead of my normal size 7.

Breckelle Leopard Mules - I bought these on Amazon back in the fall for $20, and while I was afraid they'd fall apart right away or fit weird, they've been one of my favorite shoes of the past year.  The leopard print is currently sold out, but they have solid colors in stock, and I'm linking up some similar leopard mules below.  The Breckelle's run small, so I suggest sizing up a half a size.

Vince Camuto Peep Toe Booties - These were my splurge booties that I purchased last fall, but lucky you, Target's new Universal Thread line came out with the best dupes for only $35!  I don't know about the Target ones, but the original pair runs true to size.

Universal Thread Espadrille Wedges - I've been wanting these Marc Fisher wedges forever, and thanks to Target, I got a nearly identical pair for only $33!  It looks like the Target ones are currently out of stock, but I'm linking up lots of similar options of all prices ranges below.

Affordable Spring Transitional Outfit

It can be hard to figure out what to wear in the spring, especially in the Midwest where our weather can start out freezing in the morning and be warm by the afternoon.  Layers are the answer!  Here's an affordable transitional outfit I put together using pieces that are all $50 or less.  These Madewell whisper tanks are at the top of my wishlist right now (especially the striped one), and this parka from H&M is under $50 and comes in other colors - including blush.

Oversized Lace Up Sweater

I can't believe it's the middle of March already!  I've been insanely busy this past month and time has been flying.  I've been wanting to share this sweater with you for awhile - and if you follow on Facebook you've already seen it several times over the past few months.  This sweater is one of the most comfortable that I own and always gets lots of compliments.  I was worried that the quality would be shoddy since the price is only $35, but I've been really impressed with it.  I've washed it many times and it still looks like new!

Sweater (wearing S/M) // Leggings (wearing XS) // Boots

Anyone have good plans for St. Patty's Day?!  We were supposed to go out with friends, but one of them just came down with strep throat and had to cancel ... so we might be at home in bed by 9.

The Perfect Shirt

The Express portofino shirt has been my go-to shirt for years when I can't decide what to wear.  It seems to fit every occasion, whether I need to dress up or down.  I've worn it with jeans, black pants, skirts, and shorts.  This particular pattern is old, but I have 4 or 5 others I love just as much!  And Express carries the portofino shirt all the time and changes up the colors/patterns/styles every season.  You can even button the sleeves up above the elbow for a different look.  The shirts run TTS.  I'm wearing a small.

Shirt // Jeans // Circle Bag // Necklace // Belt (Only $18 from Amazon!) // Similar Booties // Lipstick

And how about these jeans?  Can you believe they're on sale for $21 right now?!  They're under $35 regular price, so they're a great deal even if you don't buy them on sale.  They run true to size and have the cutest step-hem bottom.

Two Affordable Spring Outfits

OUTFIT ONE

OUTFIT TWO

I really love shopping for and buying dresses, but for some reason I just don't wear them that often.  I almost always opt for jeans if the occasion allows.  I've found as I get older (at the ripe old age of 33 ;), I'd much rather be comfortable than not.  So as I was finishing putting together an affordable spring outfit for you guys - using this gingham dress that I'm in love with - I realized that some of you may prefer jeans, like I do.  So I put together a second look, just as cute, but possibly a little more wearable for some of us out there who aren't "dress girls".
