Workout Essentials, Plus my Favorite Workout App!



I've been extremely bad lately about working out.  I've had a lot going on and, unfortunately, working out is one of the things I've let slip through the cracks.  I'm a big believer in working out just as much for your emotional health as for your physical health.  I know I've been more stressed out and had less energy since I quit working out.  So I'm ready to kick it back into gear and whip myself into shape!  Who's with me?!

My favorite workout app on my iPhone is Emily Skye's Workouts.  Each day focuses on a specific section of the body - either arms, abs, or legs.  After 3 consecutive days you get a rest day.  Each workout consists of 3 sets of 5 different exercises.  You work at your own pace and get rest breaks between each set.  The thing I love about it is that you can do more or less reps as needed, or skip the rest breaks if you're in a hurry (like I always seem to be!).  I can get the workouts done in less than 30 minutes and they WORK!  I definitely recommend!  Oh, and I forgot to mention the best part - it's FREE! 

You need very little "equipment" to do these workouts: hand weights and an exercise ball is about it!  A kettle bell, exercise bench, yoga mat, and super cute workout clothes are optional (but highly recommended, lol)!  So let's do this!
